JOIN US November 9-10 for our 150 Anniversary Celebration as a church! We will explore times past, current events and what’s to come! The weekend activities are for the whole family. A pancake breakfast, pinewood derby, crafts, comedy, historical displays, celebration service, and potluck will make a memorable weekend.

Pancake Breakfast 9a
Come with friends and begin the day with a great breakfast with friends before heading to the fun events of the morning.
 
Pinewood Derby

A WCC Classic is the Pinewood Derby. Adults get to race too! There will be races for adults (16 and over) and kids.

  • Cars are available for purchase at the church information desk for $5, or can be purchased at Hobby Lobby.
  • Cars must be cut from a standard pinewood derby block, and cannot be bought pre-cut.
  • Children may need assistance with their cars but should showcase their own work.
  • Racers can use previously raced cars that they have made through the years.
  • Car weight cannot exceed 5 ounces.
  • Woodshop will be opened to cut cars:
    • September 29th – 12:30-2:00pm
    • October 5th – 10:00-11:00am
    • October 7th – 6:00-7:30pm.
Pioneer Crafts
The Waterford Historical Society will be joining us to teach historical crafts interspersed with Waterford history.
 
150th Class Reunion!A Night of Comedy 7p

WCC will be transformed into a comedy club with fun looks at WCC history. Comedian Matt Jernigan will wrap up the evening with his own unique perspective on life. Join old friends, make new friends for this fun and relaxing evening. (This event I best enjoyed by individuals ages middle school and up. No childcare provided)

Celebrate God’s graciousness over the past 150 years through WCC, and what is still to come as we serve the people of Waterford.
 
Old-fashion Church Potluck 12:15p
Hosted by our Middle School students, our church potlucks boast a variety of fantastic food and an opportunity to linger with friends as the weekend draws to a close. Our Middle School group will make sure all your needs are met, and are accepting tips towards their winter retreat.
